Remington Matters partnered with Earl’s, a welcome addition to Mount Hawthorn’s hospitality scene, to create a space that prioritises warmth, spatial efficiency and flow. The scope included both bespoke and made-to-order pieces, from the main service counter with its curved timber lighting feature to indoor and outdoor furniture, shelving and wall sconces.
Earl’s colour palette of oxblood red and taupe carries through both inside and outside, with inviting leather banquette seating complemented by powder-coated steel Twin Pole tables, Walk chairs and Pinnacles stools in alternating tones.
Contrasting with the original Jarrah floorboards, the main service counter features a cork frontage divided into panels by scotched aluminium fins, and a fit-for-purpose fuzzy-peach resin countertop – an outcome of Remington Matters’ ongoing exploration into the potential and application of this highly durable material.
The resulting fit-out creates a strong visual identity for Earl’s and a welcoming, comfortable environment to enjoy locally roasted coffee, sandwiches, baked goods and a spot of people watching.
